Project description:This genome-scale metabolic model (GEM) of Corynebacterium tuberculostearicum strain DSM 44922 (Taxon ID 38304) was initially built with CarveMe version 1.5.1 based on the genome assembly with NCBI accession GCF_013408445.1 and then underwent a series of careful semi-automatic and manual curation. It is the first model curated using the Python tool MCC for mass and charge curation.
Project description:The data set comprises results from the whole cellular proteome, secreted proteins and proteins located on the bacterial surface of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis. The theroretical proteome was created from genome analysis and characterized using bioinformatical analysis.
Project description:In the present work, experiments were carried out to understand the molecular mechanism underlying phyA’ silencing. The EMS-mutagenesis of phyA’ line, L17, generated suppressor mutations that activate phyA’ locus. Detailed study of one suppressor line, sps1, indicated that methylation of specific CG site within the phyA coding region is critical for maintaining phyA’ silencing. In order to study the possible genomic targets of the putative SPS1 factor, microarray analysis using ATH1 genome array chip was done on sps1, L17 and Col-0.
