Project description:Bulk RNA sequencing data was obtained from two Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) muscle cell lines, Mack1 and Mack2, at pre-immortalization and post-immortalization passages. Mack1 cells were at passages 27 and 77 and Mack2 cells at passages 2 and 180. This project investigates how these cells were able to spontaneously immortalize and what transcriptomic changes occur in vitro during different muscle cell phenotypes.
