Project description:Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors of digestive tract, and its incidence rate and mortality rate are all on the rise. Despite the substantial development in early diagnosis and therapeutic approaches, CRC continues to have high incidence and mortality rates. Most advanced patients have a poor prognosis because of advanced recurrence and metastasis. One of the main reasons is that the mechanisms underlying CRC remain unclear. To further investage the role of circRNA in CRC, a mRNA micoarray was performed.
Project description:5 colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and 5 paired non-tumor tissues from CRC patients were indirectly compared using a 17K cDNA microarray.
Project description:To identify the gene expression of early-onset colorectal cancer, we sampled early-onset colorectal cancer patients (age < 50) and late-onset colorectal cancer paitients (age > 70) We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of early-onset colorectal cancer tissues and late-onset colorectal cancer tissues.
Project description:To identify the the functional roles and the pathophysiological contributions of the mRNA m6A modification in human colorectal carcinogenesis, we analysed the profile the landscape of the mRNA m6A modification in colorectal cancer tissues and the corresponding non-cancerous tissues.
Project description:5 colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and 5 paired non-tumor tissues from CRC patients were indirectly compared using a 17K cDNA microarray. The total RNA from each tissue was labeled with Cy5, and the total RNAs from 11 human cell lines were labeled with Cy3 as the reference.
