SnRNA-seq in adult mouse hypothalamus to identify genes responding to thyroid hormone

ABSTRACT: The study compared two groups of mice first treated to become hypothyroid. The hypothalamus samples collected from each group of mice were pooled (n=4) and nuclei were sorted to prepare two libraries: one group was treated by thyroid hormones to restore normal TH levels, and the other group was left untreated. The snRNAseq experiment was performed on sorted single nuclei extracted from the dissected mediobasal hypothalamus to identify TH-responsive genes in the mouse hypothalamus.
