RNA-seq of bone marrow derived macrophages from mice undergoing hind-limb ischaemia surgery versus controls with or without lipopolysaccharide stimulation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Bone marrow derived macrophages (BMDMs) were cultured from hind limb bone marrow (femur plus tibia) collected from C57Bl/6 mice 7-days after induction of unilateral (left) hind limb ischaemia by ligation of the femoral artery, along with control mice not undergoing surgery, providing 6 control mouse samples, 3 ischaemic limb samples and 3 non-ischaemic limb samples. Further BMDMs from these groups were also cultured with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to explore the impact of bone marrow ischaemia on a pathogen-associated molecular pattern response, providing 6 control mouse LPS samples, 3 ischaemic limb LPS samples and 3 non-ischaemic limb LPS samples.
