RNAseq of Harmaline and Harmine-treated Arabidopsis thaliana
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: β-carboline alkaloids produced by Peganum harmala (Syrian rue) have been reported to possess antimicrobial, neurological, and anticancer activities, yet their biological role and molecular target remain unknown. We investigated the effects of the harmala alkaloid, harmaline, on plant growth and cell division using Arabidopsis thaliana as a model system. RNAseq was performed on Arabidopsis seedlings in control, harmaline, and harmine treatments.
INSTRUMENT(S): Element AVITI
