ABSTRACT: Introduction
Osteosarcopenic fractures, an emerging geriatric syndrome characterized by sarcopenia-osteoporotic fractures coexistence, delayed fracture healing, and elevated risk of re-fracture. Limited research has investigated the mechanisms by which skeletal muscle satellite cells (SMSCs) promote muscle regeneration and osteoporotic fracture healing.
