Histoplasmosis usually occurs in specific endemic areas. Sporadic cases have also been reported in mainland China. Here, we described an indigenous case of disseminated histoplasmosis. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the Histoplasma capsulatum isolated in our case belongs to the Australian clade.
