<i>Onosma paniculatum</i> is a medicinal plant commonly used in Yunnan and its adjacent regions, China. In the present study, we sequenced the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence of <i>O. paniculatum</i> to investigate the phylogenetic relationship in the Tubiflorae.
