Calcium (Ca<sup>2+</sup>) signals play fundamental roles in immune cell function. The main sources of Ca<sup>2+</sup> influx in mammalian lymphocytes following antigen receptor stimulation are Ca<sup>2+</sup> release-activated Ca<sup>2+</sup> (CRAC) channels.
