<i>Kalidium foliatum</i> (Pall.) Moq. is a dominant halophyte species of the desert ecosystem mainly distributed in Southeast Europe and Northwest Asia, and used as a major forage grass. Here, we report its complete chloroplast genome, assembled from the whole-genome resequencing data.
