First-principle calculations were employed to analyze the effects induced by vacancies of molybdenum (Mo) and sulfur (S) on the dielectric properties of few-layered MoS<sub>2</sub>. We explored the combined effects of vacancies and dipole interactions on the dielectric properties of few-layered MoS<sub>2</sub>.
