The present study aimed to investigate the effect of acridone alkaloids on cancer cell lines and elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. The ten acridone alkaloids from <i>Atalantia monophyla</i> were screened for cytotoxicity against LNCaP cell lines by a WST-8 assay.
