Herein, we demonstrate that macromonomers consisting of organics-soluble, chemically protected oligonucleotides (protDNA) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) chains can be converted into bottlebrush polymers of distinct architectures via ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP).
