The crystal structure of tetragonal tungsten bronzes, with the general formula A1<sub>2</sub>A2<sub>4</sub>C<sub>4</sub>B1<sub>2</sub>B2<sub>8</sub>O<sub>30</sub>, is flexible both from a chemical and structural viewpoint, resulting in a multitude of compositions.
