The clinical characteristics of autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD) include bland urinary sediment, slowly progressive chronic kidney disease (CKD) with many patients reaching end stage renal disease (ESRD) between age 20 and 70 years, and autosomal dominant inheritance.
