Most neutralizing antibodies neutralize the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) by directly blocking the interactions between the spike glycoprotein receptor-binding domain (RBD) and its receptor, human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2).
