Caspase cleavage of huntingtin (htt) and nuclear htt accumulation represent early neuropathological changes in brains of patients with Huntington's disease (HD). However, the relationship between caspase cleavage of htt and caspase activation patterns in the pathogenesis of HD remains poorly understood.
