ABSTRACT: Total RNA profiling of control and DHX30-silenced HCT116 cells, either with no treatment and after Nutlin-3 treatment. Overall design: 4 biological samples per condition are used. A total of 16 samples were used: 8 total DMSO (scramble, DHX30 silencing), 8 total Nutlin (scramble, DHX30 silencing)

DHX30 was recently implicated in the translation control of mRNAs involved in p53-dependent apoptosis. Here, we show that DHX30 exhibits a more general function by integrating the activities of its cytoplasmic isoform and of the more abundant mitochondrial one.
