RNA-seq data from five Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains with insulin precursor or alpha-amylase production
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a popular host to be used to produce recombinant proteins. Here we studied five yeast strains producing insulin precursor or alpha-amylase through analysis of RNA-seq data to elaborate cellular resource allocation in response to protein production.
