ABSTRACT: Recent studies indicate that the oligodendroglial cell population is heterogeneous on transcriptional and functional level depending on the location in the CNS. Here, we compared primary murine OPC from spinal cord and brain on transcriptional level using whole-genome microarray. Identified up- and downreggulated genes may indicate intrinsic differences between those two populations
