RNA-sequencing for Bnt07G011994-overexpressed Arabidopsis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Bnt07G011994 is a ramie KNOX gene, and its overexpression caused a significant decrease in fiber number in transgenic Arabidopsis, indicating a negative role of this gene in modulating fiber growth. To obtain insights into the potential functional mechanism of Bnt07G011994, we performed RNA sequencing for wild and Bnt07G011994-overexpressed Arabidopsis. After comparing their transcriptomes, a total of 251 differentially expressed genes were identified.
