Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing of whole blood cells in dog lymphomas cases
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: DNA methylation patterns reflect the status of individual tissues in mammals, including factors such as cell composition, age, and local environment. These patterns can be leveraged to predict an individual's health status. The aim of this experiment is to discover the signature of lymphoma using DNA methylation from blood samples of dogs. We compared whole-genome DNA methylation data from individuals diagnosed with lymphoma to that from a control group. After adjusting for differences in age and breed, we detected differentially methylated regions.
