The gene expression of primitive macrophage derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells treated by PNU282987
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Microglia are immune cells in the brain originating from primitive macrophages, which developed in the yolk sac during embryonic development. We have previously found that stimulation of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor α7 subtype (α7 nAChR) in rodent microglia promotes the phagocytosis. In this study, we performed a comprehensive gene expression analysis of human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived primitive macrophages treated with a full agonist of α7 nAChR, PNU282987, to evaluate gene expression changes human microglia model system.
