SP5/8 transcription factors drive primary cilia formation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Sp5/8 are tissue specific zinc finger transcription factors downstream of Wnt signaling pathway. Sp5/8 null embryos display severe posterior axis truncation resembling mutant phenotypes of Wnt/b-catenin signaling pathway. To address the role of Sp5/8 in gastrulation development, we differentiated R1 Wildtype (WT) and Sp5/8 dko Embryonic Stem Cells (ESCs) as gastruloids as described previously (Beccari, L. et al, 2018) to evaluate scRNA transcriptome analysis.
