Con7 regulates the development of Penicillium oxalicum fungi and the expression of chitinase and cellulolytic genes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The goals of this study are to compare different gene expressions for Penicillium oxalicum wild type strain (WT) and Con7 destruction strain (con7-A) under conditions of 2% glucose,2% glycerol or 1% bran + 1% microcrystalline cellulose as carbon source. The results of correlation analysis between each sample showed that the gene expression level of con7-A was significantly different from that of the WT strain. The destruction of con7 significantly affect the expression levels of sporulation process genes and the expression of chitinase and cellulase-encoding genes.
