RNAseq analysis of transcriptome changes induced by ALDH1B1 inhibition in Panc 10.05 cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: ALDH1B1, a mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase, is required for the survival of stem-like colorectal and pancreatic cancer cells and a promising drug target. We have developed an optimized ALDH1B1 selective inhibitor, IGUANA-5 (IG5) and have characterized the transcriptome changes induced by IG5 in a pancreatic cancer cell line, Panc 10.05. Genes induced by IG5 in Panc 10.05 cells include those related to mitochondrial respiration and cholesterol biosynthesis.
