Gene Expression Profiling of Estrogen-Treated Tumor Cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates the global transcriptomic changes induced by estrogen in tumor cells. Cells were treated with 17β-estradiol (E2) or vehicle control. RNA was extracted and analyzed. We identifiedsignificantly differentially expressed genes, including known estrogen-responsive markers. Bioinformatic analysis revealed significant enrichment of genes involved in cell cycle, proliferation, and cancer-related pathways. This dataset delineates the core transcriptional program activated by estrogen signaling and provides a resource for research into hormone-dependent cancers.
