EV Modulates Osteogenic differentiation in hPDL-MSCs

ABSTRACT: Periodontal homeostasis is maintained by a delicate balance between tissue regeneration and degradation, orchestrated through complex regulatory networks of cellular and molecular signaling. The delivery of microRNAs (miRNAs) by EVs serves as a crucial post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism, fine-tuning these signaling cascades. In this study, we identified significant candidates contained in the EVs secreted by human periodontal ligament mesenchymal stem cells (hPDL-MSCs) that contribute to PDL-MSC homeostasis and osteogenic differentiation.
