Detection of transcriptomic changes in N9 and N33 GBM cells following treatment with small molecular inhibitors of MK-0752, WP1066 and retinoic acid
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We demonstrated that the cell state of suppressed neurogenesis and precocious astrogenesis in IDH-wildtype glioblastoma (GBM) could be manipulated as a potential therapeutic option. Clinically tested small molecule inhibitors MK-0752 (MK), WP1066 (WP), and retinoic acid (RA) were used to induce de-repression of neuronal differentiation in IDH-wildtype GBM. In order to explore the pathways affected by the two-drug (combination of MK and WP) or three-drug (combination of MK, WP, and RA) treatment, we performed mRNA sequencing on N9 and N33 cells at 48 hours post two-drug or three-drug treatent.
