IL-33 as a component of NETs mediates CIAKI by promoting ferroptosis in tubular epithelial cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study performed bulk RNA-seq on kidney tissues from WT contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI), PAD4 KO CIAKI, and IL33 KO CIAKI mice. The dataset was generated to investigate the roles of PAD4-dependent neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) and IL-33 signaling in CIAKI. Transcriptomic comparisons were used to identify gene expression programs and pathways related to NETs activation, IL-33 signaling, and tubular injury.
