ABSTRACT: Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disorder characterized by reduced bone mass, deteriorated bone microarchitecture, and elevated fracture risk due to an imbalance between osteoblast-mediated formation and osteoclast-driven resorption. Although protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (Prmt1) is implicated in skeletal metabolism, its precise functional role in osteoblast biology remains elusive.
