Transcriptome analysis of a hydrostatic pressure-derived rice lineage (HPM) compared with the wild-type cultivar JL307
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We used microarrays to compare the transcriptomes of a hydrostatic pressure-derived rice mutant lineage (HPM; derived from seeds treated at 100 MPa for 15 min and maintained by self-pollination for nine generations) and the parental wild-type cultivar JL307 at the two-leaf stage. The HPM lineage exhibited reduced plant height, tiller number and seed-setting rate, and showed extensive transcriptomic changes including altered expression of stress-responsive transcription factor families.
