Cxcr2 deficiency alters transcriptional programs in articular cartilage and subchondral bone of adult male mice
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: C-X-C chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2) regulates leukocyte trafficking and inflammatory signaling, but its contribution to skeletal homeostasis across bone-related tissues is incompletely understood. We profiled gene expression in femoral head articular cartilage and knee subchondral bone from adult male Cxcr2-null mice and wild-type littermate controls using Clariom S Mouse microarrays. The microarray dataset is part of a multi-tissue study linking Cxcr2 deficiency to altered bone microarchitecture and coordinated, tissue-specific transcriptional remodeling in bone marrow, articular cartilage, and subchondral bone.
