Proteome and phosphoproteome landscape of silicosis occurrence in mice model

ABSTRACT: To map the multi-omics atlas of silicosis progression, we collected four replicates of whole lung lobes from mice at different stages (W2, W4, W6, W10) after silica-treated as well as W6 after PBS-treated (as control). Then we performed (phospho) proteome analysis as well as bioinformatic analysis.

Silicosis is the most prevalent and fatal occupational disease with no effective therapeutics, and currently used drugs cannot reverse the disease progress. Worse still, there are still challenges to be addressed to fully decipher the intricated pathogenesis. Thus, specifying the essential mechanisms and targets in silicosis progression then exploring anti-silicosis pharmacuticals are desperately needed. In this work, multi-omics atlas was constructed to depict the pivotal abnormalities of silic  ...[more]
