Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is an urgent threat to human health. Major outer membrane proteins (OMPs) porin mutation is one important resistance mechanism of CRKP, and may also affect the inhibition activity of β-lactam and β-lactamase inhibitor combinations.
