Proteomic Identification of the FgVps1 Interactome in Fusarium graminearum

ABSTRACT: This dataset contains the proteomic analysis of FgVps1, a dynamin-related GTPase, in Fusarium graminearum. GFP-tagged FgVps1 was expressed in the fungal hyphae, immunoprecipitated using GFP-Trap A beads, and associated proteins were identified by LC–MS/MS. The dataset provides a comprehensive view of the FgVps1 interactome, including potential partners involved in vesicle trafficking, endocytosis, and autophagy-related processes. These data will facilitate understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying FgVps1 function in fungal growth and pathogenicity.

Macroautophagy/autophagy is a dynamic recycling process that maintains cellular homeostasis and is closely linked to fungal development and pathogenicity. However, the mechanisms underlying the maintenance of autophagy homeostasis remain largely unclear in phytopathogenic fungi. In this study, we identified the FgHat2-FgVps1-FgSnx4 module as a key regulator of autophagy homeostasis in Fusarium graminearum. We show that the initiation of autophagy requires acetylation of the dynamin-like G ...[more]
