Serum Proteomic Profiling During the Periovulatory Period Identifies Candidate Biomarkers of Oocyte Maturation in Deslorelin-Induced Ovulation in Dogs


ABSTRACT: The reproductive physiology of canines is unique from other mammals, as the oocyte ovulates at an immature stage and completes meiosis during tubal transportation, around 48–72 hours after ovulation. This study aimed to explore serum protein expression in canines during the periovulatory period by short gun proteomics.
