The ER Thioredoxin-Related Transmembrane Protein TMX2 Controls Redox-Mediated Tethering of ER-Mitochondria Contacts (ERMCS)

ABSTRACT: Our study demonstrates that ERMCS-localized TMX2 enhances the antioxidant activity of PRDX1/2 on TOM70, thereby preventing sulfenylation of TOM70 at C206 and regulating mitochondrial metabolism.
