Peptide standard acquired with the dual-gated SLIM-Orbitrap


ABSTRACT: Raw data collected on the dual-gated SLIM-Orbitrap. The sample contained a mixture of standard peptides at 1 uM equimolar concentration in 60:40 water:acetonitrile with 1% acetic acid (v/v). The peptides were kemptide, angiotensin I, bradykinin, neurotensin, angiotensin II, renin substrate tetradecapeptide procine, melittin, substance P, and fibrinopeptide A. Acquisition parameters included: starting arrival time of 86 ms, 1 ms / step, width of 1 ms, 5 scans per step, MS1 only.

High-resolution ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectrometry (HR-IMS-MS) instruments have enormously advanced the ability to characterize complex biological mixtures. Unfortunately, HR-IMS and HR-MS measurements are typically performed independently due to mismatches in analysis time scales.
