Early microbial and metabolic remodeling of the neovagina after laparoscopic peritoneal vaginoplasty in MRKH syndrome

ABSTRACT: This integrated multi-omics study investigated early microbial succession and metabolic remodeling of the neovagina in patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome after laparoscopic peritoneal vaginoplasty. Preoperative vestibular dimple samples (PRE) and postoperative day 14 neovaginal secretion samples (P14D) were collected and analyzed using untargeted UHPLC-Q-TOF metabolomics, 16S rRNA gene sequencing, and fluorescence quantitative PCR for sexually transmitted infection detection. The metabolomics component aims to characterize biochemical changes associated with early neovaginal epithelialization and to explore microbiota-metabolite associations during postoperative microenvironmental remodeling.

INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - hydrophilic-interaction-liquid-chromatography, Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - hydrophilic-interaction-liquid-chromatography
