Analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in Streptomyces sp. 30177 treated with C8-HSL using Headspace Solid-Phase Microextraction (HS-SPME) coupled with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study analyzed the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) produced by Streptomyces sp. 30177 in response to C8-HSL treatment. C8-HSL was dissolved and added to the culture of Streptomyces sp. 30177. After incubation, the headspace VOCs were extracted using solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The raw data were acquired and processed using Agilent MassHunter software. This study aims to reveal the impact of C8-HSL on the volatile organic compound profile of Streptomyces sp. 30177.
INSTRUMENT(S): Gas Chromatography MS - positive - high-polarity
