ABSTRACT: Sepsis-associated acute lung injury (SALI) is a life-threatening pulmonary complication triggered by sepsis, which carries a notably high mortality rate. We constructed a rat model of SALI and administered Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction (XCD) as treatment, after which untargeted serum metabolomics analysis was carried out to screen metabolites that respond to the intervention. Methods: Untargeted serum profiling was performed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the control, LPS (ALI model), and XCD groups. Differentially accumulated metabolites between groups were identified and the related metabolic pathways of these differential metabolites were further enriched and annotated to explore the potential mechanism of XCD in treating SALI.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - hilic, Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - hilic
