Project description:Expression levels from bulk whole blood from 96 individuals within the 500FG cohort. The aim of the 500FG project is to characterize the interaction between the genetic background of the host, the microbiome composition of different niches, and the consequences on an array of physiological functions: the immune response against important human pathogens, thrombocyte function, and in a subgroup of individuals the cognitive function of the brain. These aims are approached by a combination of advanced -omics technology, cutting edge functional tests (immune tests, functional brain MRI, etc) and systems biology-based bioinformatics.
Project description:Genome wide DNA methylation profiling of whole blood in schizophrenia patients and healthy subjects of different ages. The Illumina Infinium 450k Human DNA methylation Beadchip v1.2 was used to obtain DNA methylation profiles across approximately 480,000 CpGs. Dataset included 62 schizophrenia patients and 33 healthy subjects from Dutch descent.

The Illumina Infinium 450k Human DNA methylation Beadchip v1.2 was used to obtain DNA methylation profiles across approximately 480,000 CpGs. Dataset included 62 schizophrenia patients and 33 healthy subjects from Dutch descent. Bisulphite converted DNA from the 96 samples were hybridised to the Illumina Infinium 450k Human Methylation Beadchip. Publication: Steve Horvath, Yafeng Zhang, Peter Langfelder, René S. The raw data (non-normalized Unmethylated and Methylated signal intensities) are not available.
Project description:To obtain a detailed view of genes and pathways regulated in whole blood obtained from COVID-19 patients in the Osaka cohort, we carried out global RNA sequencing.
Project description:The IBD-Character cohort (Edinburgh, Oslo, Örebro, Linköping, Zaragoza, Maastricht) included patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis) recruited at diagnosis and non-IBD controls. Paired-end RNA sequencing was used for whole blood expression profiling. Raw and normalized counts tables are provided.
Project description:Whole blood total RNA was isolated form PaxGene tubes using the PaxGene total RNA extraction kits. miRNA expression was profiled in Primary Sjogren's Syndrome patients and controls in order to independently validate differentially expressed miRNAs between patients and controls and between patient subgroups that were identified in 'Cohort 1'.
Project description:The data set comprises individual array-based genome-wide gene expression data of 991 participants of the SHIP-TREND cohort generated using RNA prepared from whole blood. *** Due to privacy concerns, the SNP and phenotype data is not available with unrestricted access. Individuals wishing to obtain this data for research purposes may request access directly from the submitter (contact info below). *** Total RNA was prepared from whole-blood samples from 991 individuals belonging to the epidemiological SHIP-TREND cohort. Individual mRNA profiles were generated using the Illumina HumanHT-12 v3 Expression BeadChip.
