The circadian clock of <i>Rhyparobia maderae</i> is the accessory medulla (AME) in the optic lobes of the brain. Controlled by compound ocular photoreceptors, the cockroach clock orchestrates circadian rhythms in physiology and behavior synchronized with environmental light-dark cycles.
