Study partners of NHS protein by proteomics
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: I am studying the NHS, the founding member of the NHS protein family, following the work of Yanan Wang, that discovered the WAVE shell complex, containing NHSL1 instead of WAVE (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-023-39276-w) Our recent experiments of the single cell migration show that NHS KO cells have decreased migration persistence (unlike NHSL1), that is why we are now interested in finding possible partners of the NHS. The strategy was to perform TAP of the Flag-GFP tagged NHS. The results suggest that NHS is embedded into a stoichiometric complex.
