Global gene expression analysis of the OsDIS1 overexpression plants under normal and drought stress conditions

Project description:To identify genes involved in the OsDIS1-mediated drought-responsive pathway, we performed microarray analysis of the OsDIS1 overexpression and wild-type plants under both normal and drought stress conditions using the Agilent rice Genechip. Seven-day-old plants of the OsDIS1 overexpression line 9-4-2 as well as the wild-type plants were used in the drought treatment. OsLEA3 was used as a positive control for the drought treatment. Genes with more than two-fold changes in the overexpression plants compared with the wild-type plants were selected. The expression pattern of some differentially expressed genes was further confirmed by real-time PCR.

Project description:To dissect the mechanisms that control and mediate cellular iron homeostasis, we conducted quantitative high-resolution iTRAQ proteomics and microarray-based transcriptomic profiling of iron-deficient Arabidopsis thaliana plants. Proteomic and transcriptomic profiling of Arabidopsis Col and RING DOMAIN LIGASE1 (RGLG1) and RING DOMAIN LIGASE2 (RGLG2) double mutation in response to iron deficiency were conducted. This integrative analysis provides a detailed catalog of post-transcriptionally regulated proteins and allows the concept of a chiefly transcriptionally regulated iron deficiency response to be revisited.

Microarray experiment on M. incognita infected and uninfected material in A.thaliana Col-0 plants and A. thaliana ERF6 mutated plants

Project description:In this experiment we investigate the transcription profile of M. inocognita infection at the start of the infection and 7 days later in A. thalinana Col-0 plants. This was compared to M. incognita infected material of the plant line erf6-1, a T-DNA insertion mutant in ERF6. The data showed the role of ERF6 during early M. incognita infection in Arabidaaaaaaaaaaopsis besides more insight in the transcription regulated by M. incognita in Col-0 the wildtype plant. Samples are taken from whole root systems of 14 (0 days after infection) or 21 (7 days after infection) day old plants.
