Project description:Transcriptional profiling of 6-day-old seedlings of Arabidopsis wild type control and mutants is performed using Affymetrix IVT Arabidopsis ATH1 Genome Array.
Project description:Plant reproduction depends on the concerted activation of many genes to assure the correct communication between pollen and pistil. Here we queried the whole transcriptome of Arabidopsis thaliana in order to identify genes with specific reproductive functions. We used the ATH1 whole genome array to profile wild-type unpollinated pistils and unfertilized ovules in comparison with the expression profile of pistils 0.5, 3.5 and 8.0 hours after pollination KEYWORDS: time course
Project description:Analysis of the transcriptomes of nearly ripe siliques (18-19 DAP) of the rdo2-1, rdo3 and hub1-2 (rdo4) mutants in comparison with wild-type Ler, using Affymetrix GeneChip Arabidopsis ATH1 Genome Array.
Project description:Plants have developed a complicated resistance system, and they exhibit various defense patterns in response to different attackers. However, the determine factors of plant defense patterns are still not clear. Here, we hypothesized that damage patterns of plant attackers play an important role in determining the plant defense patterns. To test this hypothesis, we selected leafminer, which has a special feeding pattern more similar to pathogen damage than chewing insects, as our model insect, and Arabidopsis thaliana as the response plants. The local and systemic responses of Arabidopsis thaliana to leafminer feeding were investigated using the Affymetrix ATH1 genome array.
