Comparative venomics suggests an evolutionary adaption of spider venom from predation to defense
In this study, to unravel the influence of phylogenetic divergence and biogeography in shaping the composition and activity of Daboia venoms, we comparatively investigated the venoms of D. russelii from western India and D. palaestinae from Israel.

Snake venomics analysis of the Vipera seoanei. A venom pool of 49 milked wild specimen were separated by RP-HPLC, followed by SDS-PAGE separation and the single bands were in-gel processed by DTT, IAC and final o/n tryptic digested.
