The project is based on in-bone digestion of proteins by trypsin directly in human maxillary and mandibular healthy and pathological bone samples without the prior reduction and alkylation of the disulfide bonds. The released peptides were then separated and identified by LC-MS/MS method.

Single-cell gene expression of control mandibular bone marrow cells and mandibular bone marrow cells under apical periodontitis
Cell clusters during mandibular bone regeneration [scRNA-seq]
γδ17T Cells Hinder Mandibular Bone Defect Healing
Objective: Craniofacial bone defects caused by injuries and congenital diseases are a formidable challenge to clinicians. Research has shown promise in using bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) from limb bones for craniofacial bone regeneration; yet little is known about the potential of BM...

Fusion of branchial arch derivatives is an essential event in the development of craniofacial architecture. A unique feature of the mandibular arch development is medial/lateral compartmentalization for the molecular networks. Those networks give rise to multiple region-specific organs, namely teeth...

Recently, there is increasing report of bone necrosis exceptionally in jaw bone areas after long term administration of anti-resorptive agent, bisphosphonate (BP). It is still unknown that why BP does not result in osteonecrosis but potentiate fracture repair in axial skeleton such as long bones. Ma...

Single-cell gene expression of control mandibular bone marrow cells and mandibular bone marrow cells under bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ)
The overall goal of this project is to investigate the role of TGF-beta signaling in tissue-tissue interactions between myogenic precursors of craniofacial muscles and cranial neural crest cells (CNCCs). Here, we conducted gene expression profiling of the mandibular arch from mice at embryonic day E...

Single-cell gene expression of mandibular bone marrow cells and mandibular bone marrow cells under the stimulation of apical periodontitis were determined by scRNAseq.
